This blog focuses on our Black Bute heather tartan, this tartan is a part of our Bute heather collection. The tartan is essentially an all black tartan with a subtle peak of the pattern woven through it. It is easy to style as unlike very overwhelming garish tartans its classic and pairs well with almost any colour even black itself.

We designed this as its a necessary staple of our collection, some shy away from black tartans assuming its a "funeral" colour but dark tartans can be styled in a variety of ways to suit any occasion. Our Black Bute tartan is perfect for those wanting to embrace the kilt without committing to lots of bold colour. The tartan also looks very clean and classy styled with a black jacket, white socks & shirt.

Pictured on the right is our black Bute heather styled formally with a matching black Prince Charlie jacket & waistcoat with matching accessories. We offer a party discount for groups of six on a selection of 20 tartans, including our exclusive Bute Heather collection. When you book six hires, you will receive the sixth hire free, providing a discount of up to £180.

The discount can be applied as one free hire or deducted from the overall cost of the party booking.


For example:

- 5 kilt packs at £110 each = £550 + 1 free hire = 6 kilts for the price of 5 (£550)


- 6 kilt packs at £110 each = £660 - 1 free hire (£110) = £550, making it £91.66 per kilt


*Please note that to qualify for the party booking discount, all hires must be booked together, with a deposit paid at the same time, using the qualifying tartans.
